Before diving into the world of fine jewelry, I spent over eight years working as a corporate UX designer in the tech industry. While I enjoyed creating intuitive and impactful digital experiences, my heart always pulled me toward more tangible, creative expressions. My journey into jewelry making began while living in Hawaii, where I would handcraft pieces from shells I found while freediving. The contrast between my tech career and this passion for working with my hands became undeniable, and I realized it was time to pursue my true calling.

The transition to fine jewelry was a natural evolution of my love for art, nature, and craftsmanship. After my corporate stint, I embraced the chance to create something personal and lasting. Each piece I design reflects my experiences in Hawaii, my travels across Asia, and the artistic vision I’ve nurtured throughout my life. Jewelry became a way for me to merge my appreciation for detail and design with my desire to craft meaningful, one-of-a-kind pieces.

My brand, Sunny Sea, is a celebration of modern art and timeless beauty. Every piece is slow-crafted by me using sustainably sourced materials, high-quality metals, pearls, and gemstones.
